Motion

I used several cameras to make images in the Motion series. Many of these images were made as part of other projects including Street and Amsterdam. Several I made with the express purpose of Motion in mind. Cameras used include the usual cast of characters — The Contax T, Nikon F3HP, and the Yashica Mat 124G. Taken at face value, I don’t blame you if you think these are the only cameras I use. I must admit, though, they are my favorites. For a handful of images in this series I used my Leica MP set on a tripod with a neutral density filter to get extended blurred motion with static elements.
