Street

I like to appear as inconspicuous and anonymous as possible when shooting street. I’ve seen photographers walk right up to people and point a camera at their face. That’s not my style.

My street camera of choice is the incredibly compact 35mm film camera — the Contax T.

I’ve also shot street with the Nikon F3HP, Yashica Mat 124G, the Nikon F3T, and the Pentax 67. Yes, you can shoot street with a Pentax 67 — you don’t look anonymous nor inconspicuous, but the camera is so honkin’ huge that people play along!
